I’m still alive!
These past few weeks have been hectic. Thanksgiving was a huge event. It was the first time we’ve all been together since we were kids and of course AJs first thanksgiving. We all pitched in and cooked. Our turkey burned because we confused the timer with the oven timer so it beeped but never turned off. Lmao it wasn’t too much damage so we tore it apart and gave AJ a bone to run around with while we finished cooking. It was so funny. My mother, sister and I decided to make a dessert each and not to toot my own horn but my Bailey’s Tres Leches was DELICIOUS!
I also decided to do holiday cards this year so we had a photo shoot for AJ on Thanksgiving and the pictures came out great. I’m still waiting on the cards so you’ll see them soon.
I have so much more to share but all my pictures are on my laptop so please bare with me.
I’ve been having a lot of fun and it’s made me happy with my decision to come back to my family after my marriage fell apart. I doubted myself for a long time but I couldn’t have given AJ this otherwise. He’s crazy about my family and vice versa.
I don’t know what God has planned for me but I can rest assured that it’s going to work out.
(Here’s my prince tonight. He’s under the weather so no smiles.)
